Homemade Marble Cake with Olive Oil

Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease and flour a 10–12 inch loaf tin.
- In a bowl, mix the cocoa, 80 g of the sugar and the water.
- In another bowl, combine the flour and baking powder.
- Using a stand mixer, beat the remaining sugar (320 g) with the Ölich Olive Oil, vanilla, salt and pepper. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Add the flour mixture and milk alternately and mix briefly.
- Stir three quarters of the batter into the cocoa mixture. Pour a third of the light batter into the tin, cover with a third of the chocolate batter and repeat.
- Bake for 60 minutes. Check with a skewer: if it comes out clean, the cake is done.
- Leave the cake to cool in the tin, then turn it out.
