Memecik is a traditional Turkish olive variety and one of the most widespread in the country. It is grown mainly on the Aegean coast. It produces balanced, fruity oils.
Our Ölich Olive Oil is made from Memecik alone. No blend, one single variety from one single region: Edremit. Soft and fresh on the attack, a hint of fresh grass and a fine peppery finish that lingers only briefly in the throat.
