Olive leaf extract is obtained from olive leaves, usually with alcohol or water, and then concentrated or dried. It is sold as a liquid, a powder or in capsules and is often standardised to a certain oleuropein content.
Tea and extract are two different things. With tea, you pour hot water over the whole dried leaves and drink the infusion. An extract, by contrast, is a processed concentrate. Our Ölich Olive Leaf Tea is pure tea made from leaves, not an extract.
