Caprese Salad with Basil Oil

Caprese salad is a simple salad of fresh mozzarella and tomatoes, topped with a new variant: BASIL OIL.


2 large tomatoes, cut lengthwise into 1/4 inch thick slices

6 oz / 170 g fresh mozzarella cheese, cut into 1/4 inch thick slices

Basil oil

1 Cup basil

1/3 Cup Ölich olive oil

1/4 tsp salt

    Cut 2 juicy tomatoes into thick rounds and dress them with a little oily olive oil, a little sea salt and pepper.

    Break mozzarella into pieces.

    On a serving platter, arrange the tomato slices together with the mozzarella pieces.

    Garnished with basil oil.
